Based on what I can gather, she grew up in LA and wanted to be famous, so she entered the scene as a teen trying to get into modeling/acting/singing/whatever. She got in with the in crowd and made it to red carpet events, but ultimately blames her conservative values for her failure.

So, she goes to YouTube as plan B and it works, because she's a relatively attractive millennial female expousing conservative values, becomes famous and joins Infowars and identifies as a journalist.

Then an opportunity to make shadowgate comes along from a woman who glows brighter than the moon and she's blinded by opportunity. Alex warns her not to proceed, but she does, then there's some misunderstanding, a split, then she throws him under the bus. Somewhere in all this she's beating up her grandmother (mother?) - who very possibly sees her as a raging c*nt.

My impression is that her primary motivation has always been the fastest path to fame, and that all of her actions are primarily motivated by this LA desire.

This is a pretty harsh assessment, based on limited knowledge, so I could very well be wrong, but it's my quick take impression.
