In terms of pillow man and overstock dude, I tend to think some people have been sleepers for years, even decades. A plan like this requires way more of a foundation to jump from than just deciding in 2016 "Hey, we're going to change some shit".

Doesn't mean my pillow is a super spy. Maybe he just had a specific job to do, no matter how small, and did it? Maybe he gathered Intel through other business? Finances?

I think there are thousands in this country alone that have been gathering intelligence and when combined together, we have a mountain of damaging info.
