For years I have repeatedly needed to reconstruct my concept of evil. The reoccurence of this act seems to have accelerated too. To a certain degree we all tend to define evil on our own terms depending on our faith before our Lord and Savior. Even here, our tendency is to set limits to it, depending on what is known and experienced and what isn't. Those things that are too ghastly and unbearable are typically discarded psychologically. This is a form of cognizant dissonance, to which all of us are affected to one degree or another.

It seems that in the last 25 years or so, I have had to open my eyes.... not willingly, but being forced to realize.... the depth of evil. Wrapping one's mind around this is not ever easy to do. I have come to realize that the depth of evil in this world is boundless and permeates everything. Yes, the good does exist, but all too often it is held captive and suppressed in a gossamer of darkness. Who would ever think that there is a multi-billion dollar industry of pure unadulterated evil occurring in all our hospitals? And the lie that these loved ones are 'brain dead' and don't feel any pain when giving their organs so that another life may live? How hideous and evil this deception is. It's a horror story and one that nobody would ever allow if they knew the truth. The deception of 'good intentions' pave the road (with the blood of the innocent) all the way to hell.
