The profile says this:

Reserved for the 45th President of the United States of America🇺🇸 This account is an uncensored Twitter archive and shares email statements sent by The Office of Donald J. Trump.

The profile therefor indicates that it was not set up by Trump, and is not being operated by Trump. Moreover, 'reserved' implies to me that it was set up by Andrew Torba or his team, and this would explain the blue check mark.

Because the profile states it "shares email statements sent by The Office of Donald J. Trump", we could reasonably assume that it was created prior to the establishment of Truth Social, when DJT was only issuing missives from his office in a form we have now become quite familiar with.

The account does seem to duplicate TS posts, but if DJT is not even using twitter, then why would he be using GAB. I've seen no mention of him using GAB prior to this particular post at GAW....

With regards to the OP, what DJT did actually do is re-truth this particular post:

based on the above, my own conclusion is that someone high up at GAB created and reserved the DJT account there in the hope that DJT would join GAB and use it, and since then has continued to post content that (they) think is significant or which replicates as much as possible, what DJT is doing elsewhere at TS or via his office.

I don't think its a parody and I don't think it is malevolent, but I also do not think that it is genuinely 'the real Donald Trump'.

If that is the case, then the fact that users believe that this is Trump (notice how the OP stated that "Trump posted this on Gab Today" is a problem and an issue.

Not the fact that the content is replicated, but that now such statements would become inaccurate, and indeed false.

Reserving the account for DJT would be an innocent and perfectly acceptable move. Running the account in such manner as to give the impression that it is in fact DJT posting over at GAB is problematic.

The Operator (and I'll assume at this point it is Torba) would have a responsibility to make it perfectly clear to the whole audience that this is NOT DJT. My impressions of TORBA are that he has his own priorities, that he thinks those priorities supersede pretty much all other priorities, so it would not surprise me to learn that this is NOT DJT, and that the situation is as I have described above.

IMO, disinformation, malinformation and confusion IS a real problem and issue in the information war. It should be minimized as much as possible by responsible members of the truth community.

If you know of any references by DJT to actually running a dual social media acount (i.e. BOTH TS and GAB), that would settle the matter. But otherwise....
