This kind of reminds me of all the corporate bullshit going on. I work with corporations as a consultant, and am so glad that I don't have to participate in their indoctrination.

Last week I saw a couple of emails. One was - Support Our DEI Initiatives by Participating in the Q3 Implicit Bias Training, the other was labeled with some Anti-Bias label and had topics like the importance of Allyship (being an ally). I looked inside and there were bullet points like "Speak out for the oppressed before you speak our for youself."

I have never disrespected a person because of the race, or any other characteristic, and I take offense at the suggestion that I do so implicitly because that is to claim I am a bad person except when I am able to consciously decide not to be. I like time when sticks and stones could break bones, and word couldn't hear someone, instead this is teaching that your very wellness depends on someone not offending you. Fuck um is all I can say. I will not be a party to this indoctrination.
