At the beginning of the Soviet Unions dissolution, after a two week working visit to Moscow, I remember the feeling I had when my plane fiiiiiinally took off from the Moscow airport.

To my shock, EVERYONE in the airplane, including me, spontaneously broke out in very loud cheers of relief and joy when the plane took off
