Patel has always been loyal to Trump but also he is tempering his own statements lately. e.g. in another posting today on GAW, Patel says that he thinks the FBi is salvageable. Would be curious to see if he continues on this 'softer Kash'. Might give us a hint.

spez: regarding Vivek, there are many positions that Trump could consider Vivek to fill if Trump thinks he is truly on board, for instance, SoS. (Remember Buttigieg was a candidate last time, and he got plugged into Trans Secy. Biden had to know in advance that the Dems were going to roll out the 'white supremacy' campaign during his term and Buttigieg's VP consideration was DOA.)
