Pretty sure "taking music that crosses one's path and playing it together" = "DJing." :)

I'll have to listen later, skipping thru some are strangely familiar.

BTW the "frog" mix (Wrong Side of Town) of this does not actually have Hardkiss involvement, though another mix (Fungus, har har) does*. And the "Dust Brothers" mix is the Chemical Brothers (who were dumb enough to name themselves after the US hip hop producers as like homage or something apparently without realizing that's not exactly how it works)(the real DB did Paul's Boutique - which was originally intended to be hip hop dance tunes till the BB convinced them they could in fact rap over the stuff).

Edit: What's interesting/funny is I'd totally forgotten it's not even the original release. From the comments it would seem a couple people are unaware of the remixes - one even pines for some LOL.

*Moar edit: HUH! WRONG. Here we are 30 years later and I realize "Remix - Next School" - uh hover/click that! NO WONDER this was (IIRC) on a comp of theirs and not the mix obviously credited to them (which isn't nearly as memorable). ROFL amazing.
