And the people who did them. Have been lost to retirement, death, and assorted illnesses affecting the mind. Leaving them with no institutional knowledge left. Meaning they’re starting over from square 1. Actually likely less than given the quality of education now….

As far as Theories I’ve heard for why we haven’t gone back that aren’t related to the Apollo Missions being faked. Or the earth being flat.

1. We did actually land on the moon. Just not with the technology they said we had available to us. And wanting to protect American Scientific/Military secrets. They constructed what we currently “know” and seeded it with deliberate disinformation.

2. We actually did land. But we had no ability to transmit the footage. Nor bring back anywhere near the amount of equipment they said we did. So they faked the footage and most of the “Official” equipment on public display for the Propaganda Win.

3. Another theory is that the last manned mission. Discovered the remains of a Soviet Cosmonaut expedition that had been torn apart. And the NASA crew after withdrawing to their capsule for emergency lift off. Reported unknown shadows and shape’s moving around outside before they lifted off. So the NASA and the Military banned further expeditions and took steps to sabotage, Destroy and edit Missions Documents as well as spreading disinformation to discourage any further returns until we know what we’re facing up there.

4. We cut a secret deal with the Soviets to avoid a War on Earth. As the Soviets would be paranoid about “Capitalist Military Moon Bases”

5. We were explicitly warned away from the Moon and told it’s not a natural Solar body at all. But a Prison. With a Similar Entity. Though dramatically less powerful one imprisoned at Tsarichina in Bulgaria. (Look up Operation Sunray)

6. (This theory was surprisingly elaborate and would actually make for a pretty good story. ) But the gist is. Humanity is far, far, far older and more technologically advanced than we are willing to admit. (Ala the Forerunners/Precursors from Halo for a close example.) We were supposed to be the pinnacle of physical creation and shepherds there to create and seed life under the watchful eyes of the almighty. And due to a mix of our own hubris. Abusing aforementioned technology, Delusions of Grandeur, Corruption by fallen Angels, Divine intervention by God to humble us and remind us he is ultimately in charge. And influence of Elites seeking to obtain power. We were forcibly and steadily devolved down the technological ladder. Back to tribal/Hunter gatherer days. With numerous disasters and other events wiping any trace of this past from Archeological and Historical records.

And we’ll be granted full access to the Moon. Which is secretly an ark/time capsule full of our forgotten history and technology. When God decides we are ready to be re-entrusted with it.

And the last departed with a warning from Angels posted to guard the Ark that no further Manned Missions would be allowed to succeed until God decided it was time to start giving us our proverbial toys back.
