Now that case is over barricades in the Rio Grande but the real issue here is Article 4 Section 4. It was by nullifying the injunction that this declaration by Abbott was triggered. Now when this reaches SCOTUS it will be a question surrounding Article 4 Section 4 and the issue of Federalism vs State Sovereignty that has been argued since the very inception of our Republic. This goes to the very heart of our understanding of our Republic and the underpinnings of our nation.
