Sometimes a good response to opinions like that is just to ask "Well in your opinion what is the most racist thing he has done?" If they falter then that ought to show them something. If they have false reasons then those can be answered with true facts.

He said he thought clinton won and the best time in history for blacks was when bill clinton was president. I mentioned that bill had the good fortune to preside over the tech boom. I talked about the bush/clinton cocaine connection and he was shocked and said it sounds crazy. It was like I know it does. Just look up a documentary on it and see what you think.
