I wouldn't quite give Ritter that elevated status. He has his niche though. In this case I think Iran was only sending a message to its own radicals. Their attack was telegraphed and essentially defeated for what was basically nothing in return but bragging rights to their own people. The news in Iran is probably telling its own people they decimated Israel. Why Ritter thinks this is Iranian strength being truly demonstrated is beyond me. Iranian influence in Iraq did more damage while I was there than this did. Which incidentally was where soliemani was when he got whacked.
