I do think you're going to be even stronger when you get on the other side of this ridiculous situation and things get back to normal (much better than normal, actually). Just know that we're praying for ALL people being put through hardship by the beasts of this world. Perseverance is key and having God in your life is having everything. I'm certainly not in your shoes, anon, but you're seemingly handling yourself incredibly well considering your circumstances. Hang in there.

Your last two sentences are spot on. Godspeed. 🙏✝️

Your last two sentences are spot on. From about two weeks into finding GAW (and diving in fully) I've felt as if the missing puzzle pieces of my life - from early on - have fallen into place. I know for a fact that the Lord led me here, wants me to be here as a witness (as unpleasant-horrific as it is to just know what's going on). Now I find myself pondering "What am I supposed to be learning from this?" every time a challenge crops up in my life.

At one point several months ago I was pretty upset, this regarding a loved one, and felt helpless and overwhelmed. I just gave it to God. I gave all my worry and angst to Him, admitted to myself that I have no control over the situation, but He does and His will is going to be done (regardless of whether or not I understand why). I trust Him and felt such inner peace when I did so. I still occasionally feel my anxiety start to rise, but can nip it in the bud and turn it off.

You're (hopefully) safe, with your wife and have managed to stay away from getting jabbed (or further jabbed-boosted if you had the initial ones). Those are three very important things you have going for you. And you can write a book about your ordeal someday, something I hope many people will consider doing. Future generations, if we're to have a future here, need to be made to understand what went on during this time period - so it never happens again. Godspeed. 🙏✝️
