My CEO just called. We are one of HUNDREDS of agencies within a large network that is also part of the largest marketing conglomerate in the world.
So the top CEO has asked the tier 3 CEOs to start contacting the vaxx “no’s”, confirm they’re a no, and to report the reasons why if they remain a no. I’m one of 30 hold outs remaining in an agency of 400 people, and out of those 30 I’m the top employee she is fighting for.
I’ve been with the agency for over 14 years. I’m a legend here. People actually like me. Clients like me. I’ve been able to perform my work for damn near 2 years without a vaxx, and have been a rock star while doing it. I’m not usually this “cocky”, but I really trying to paint an accurate picture here. I am the golden boy of the agency, heralded as the future CEO on numerous occasions.
AND DESPITE ALL OF THIS, I think I’m going to lose my job.
But I’ve now had the difficult conversation. The call was emotional (but cordial) and we both shed some tears, because we’ve been through a lot of business battles together. She disagrees with my opinion on the vaccine, she’s been brainwashed by corporate elites for months now, but overwhelmingly admires my convictions. This obviously feels like a situation that no sides want. Our conversation I think was an eye opener for her—a point where she finds out “the enemy” is a person close to her.
Firing me would make zero business sense. But if they do it, I do so with my convictions and dignity still intact, and greatly look forward to leaning on God’s mercy and grace in the times ahead :)
