Over the past two month's, the Billings area was inundated with Covid patients. I was one of four who actually lived.
They are asking Pts as standard questioning to sign DNR's, without repeating all of the gory details, the doctor said it is 50/50 split between those who are vaccinated and those who are unvaccinated.
From a microcosm perception, I want you to know that in the small town of Dutton, Montana (300+) there were 12 deaths in a two-year span. The undertaker has currently dug 11 graves, with 2 more today. Teton County is requesting help for the Cemetery area. That doesn't has several other close towns who are also burying people at a greater rate.
Some of the standard heart attack, or Farm injuries, but the truth is our vulnerable population is getting the covid-19. Some have the vaccine/some haven't. Either way they're dying.
I was the nurse that was complaining about my housing. I'm currently staying with my son recuperating. I feel incredibly blessed.
I've calmed down from my freak out over the illness.
One thing that I could talk about that was a game-changer for me because, I specifically requested it...was the use of morphine and Ativan in my care.
We could talk about that another time because it's not standard protocol. Except in the end of life care/venting pts.
As a nurse who understands oxygen hunger, even though those two drugs to suppress the respiratory system, it does Aid and calming the vessels with regard to hyperventilating and air hunger. It also helps with the post-traumatic stress disorder. And trust me the nightmares are real. Thanks for listening and all the support
