2 Chronicles 7:14 14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
You wisdom is a gift from God, your love for your daughter is the beginning of wisdom and the gift of love from our Father in heaven. May I suggest starting with the New Testament reading, as you may know the word testament means covenant. So the new testament is the new covenant that God has given us. It makes me so full of joy to know that you are seeking the wisdom and love of Jesus. He is truth, the way and the light. The first read of the Bible can be challenging, a concordance is a good resource. If you have not already invested in a bible, you might go to a website that shows many translation and see what you are the most comfortable with. So happy for you that you are reading the scriptures, it is called the living word for a good reason. The Word brings life and peace and understanding in a way that no other book can. Good news friend, our God is bigger than any problems we may perceive as hard. Stay in constant prayer, keeping our Lord Jesus on your heart. He will and does provide for His children. Better days are coming in Jesus name. Just have faith.

Accept forgiveness and move on, every one messes up, the question is did you learn anything. Take your regret as a warning and heed the wisdom of Solomon:

Rest in peace Rush, sure gonna miss you. You were a Patriot and always will be in my memory as a truth giver. No one can fill your place in the air waves, but rest easy friend the Patriots that you saw grow up have got this and we will never back down or concede.
