Went to Menards to buy a new mattress & a few other things last week my husband and were stopped at the door and told We needed a masks I said I don’t do masks , at that point the guy came from behind the counter and told me he gets fined for everyone that comes in without a mask I said you get fined and he said yes I’m tired of losing money because people come in without a mask so I proceeded to politely give him information about what’s on The CDC official website and other information about masks being harmful to our health , he again told me he’s tired of loosing money because people won’t comply, I replied so this really isn’t about your concern for anyone’s safety it’s about your pocketbook and they are punishing you monetarily for me not wearing a mask he said yes I agree with you but I’m loosing my bonus check , at that point I either give in because I feel bad for him or I stand up and say enough is enough I told him I’m sad because I was going to spend $600 -$ 800 on a mattress which probably would have helped your bonus check but now I will go to a furniture store down the road and purchase a mattress from them because I won’t comply to these idiotic demands because you said with your own mouth it’s not about our safety it’s political and it’s about your pocketbook. Shame on you Menards it’s a disgrace for you to punish your management staff monetarily for me exercising my constitutional right and protecting my health buy not wearing a mask. I did buy a mattress from the furniture store without a mask it was on sale and I got a better mattress and saved $150 yea!! God!!!!
I finally heard back from Menards and told my email was sent to upper management, this was my reply back. Thank You for hearing me out Ray, I hope you will consider changing your policy because we really do like Menards , The 45 president has ask us to boycott some companies yours isn’t on the list I hope you make the cut , as the America people are preparing to Make our voices heard in a big way, through our spending habits. Shopping at small local businesses that share our American values and avoiding big conglomerates that seem to want to control us more than serve us by pushing socialism and tyranny. Thank You Toni
