Vision received in the Spirit-- November 17, 2022 (3pm)

“This child– all you see here in my Spirit realm, is WHY we fight so hard to bring them the truth; they won’t come here with us– otherwise.”

I saw green pastures as I sat with the Lord on a white plank-board bench; I was crying, while laying my head on his knee– and staring out at the garden.

I saw flowers in the grass, warm golden light filling the atmosphere, and could feel ‘life’ all around us– but I was so broken-hearted over the rejection of the Holy Spirit in the earth– from his Lukewarm children.

He said…

“I need you to come out of our heart, and come up to my mind– there, I must weigh judgment, and there…the perspective is different.”

I stepped inside of him, and I beheld a lamb, a newly-born looking lamb, unsteady on its feet.

“Can you see it child; can you see the lamb?

It can hardly stand upon its legs; it’s born into this world, and it suffers the effects of sin immediately– though it knows it not.

This is why we must be born-again in spirit– becoming ONE with MINE, child; this is why it’s more than just saying a prayer and believing I am God and Savior– one must relinquish ‘the spirit of satan,’ the fallen spirit– or it will slowly kill you.

Do you see the lamb as it looks to me, and knows not the spirit that is strangling it, and slowly poisoning it with its venom?

The snake spirit will wrap itself around a human soul, it will entice, and it will lull; it will become one with the lamb so much so, that the lamb knows nothing more than– ‘this is normal.’

The snake spirit will poison the lambs, slowly, subtly and methodically by its smooth words, as it speaks what the lamb wants to hear.

It promises it will care for the lamb, and give it a ‘place’ in the world; but the lamb knows not that it will take its life in the end.

Do you see they are so naive, so ignorant and in danger without the shepard; do you see they are still on milk, and have not the ability to chew the word of God– and take in the sustenance.

Like a frog in slowly boiling water, they will be led down the broadpath– and will not see the danger of it, until the precipice is in sight.

I seek to save the Lost sheep Janet; I seek to save the blind– those in bondage, lambs– that have no shepard.

(1 Kings 22:17 “I saw all Israel scattered upon the hills, as sheep that have not a shepherd.”)

They call out my name, but they cannot see in the spirit, so they cannot see the danger they are really in.

They look to me innocently, oblivious– even though my watchmen holler out the warnings to them.

You see, the venom they spit at you child, is really being spit by the demons, sin and rebellion– that is wrapped around them.

And the truth is child, they spit it at the Holy Spirit in you, as we are one together; they cannot see this, and they reject the very God they cry out to.

I must wake them from the pied-piper dear; I must use the holy fires to do so.

Snakes do not like fire; and you do not get rid of a snake spirit that has wrapped itself around the life of a lamb by fighting like another snake– you fight against a snake– with The Father’s Love.

Love– kills out the snake.

I must show them my Love– my Love and my Fire; for the snake is far too close to risk anything less.

Do you understand my judgment now child; do you understand why I must refine with fire??

I must separate the snake spirit from my child’s spirit; but they must HUMBLE THEMSELVES, which is to ‘choose’ me, in TRUTH, and in Spirit.

They must ‘choose’ to relinquish the snake spirit that has been ‘caring for them,’ in worldly ways; and they must accept ‘my way,’ and that is to relinquish pride– and step into being teachable, rulable, and humble.

If they will not do this, the snake will take them in the end– to where I will cast him.

I cannot allow any more fence riding– for THIS VERY REASON child; they know not the true danger of fence-riding.

It’s not a fence they ride-- but the snake that binds them; and I must cut it loose from them, by refining fires, and judgment– through harvest sown.

I see the lamb, as they should be– but I see the snake, as it is entangled upon them, and leading them, with all its poisons.

It speaks to them, it hugs them (though it truly squeezes the life out of them); it spits AT ME, and at ANYONE WITH ME.

They are ignorant, though they should not be; they are suffering– yet they strike out.

Pray for them, condemn them not; intercede for them to BE AWAKENED and to SEE the TRUTH.

In this, you heap coals upon the enemy’s head.

Do you see them now, the way I see them; do you see why I need Love– to fight evil??

Do you see now that they need Love, Compassion and Support– as much as they need Truth, Judgment and Refinement??

They are clueless, and yet they will perish all the same if they repent not; but ultimately, it’s their choice, and they must make it.

But we can instruct the others of what you have seen, and we can encourage them to fight in prayer, in fasting and in supplications– to come before me, and plead their case to be heard in ‘mercy’ and forgiveness.

This opens a door to Spiritual miracles– and mercy is great to me– greater than judgment, when applied.

Mercy, my child– will open doors, that judgment alone would not.

Pray mercy, and pray TRUTH TO BE SHOWN; the rest is mine to carry out.

I will always prefer mercy with repentance– over judgment; I need willing vessels to see them the way I do, and love them– when they seek to spit venom at you.

SEE ME– in them; SEE the Lamb and the Snake– and choose to set the lambs free, over all else.

If they do not choose me in the end– you will have loved them, and prayed for them– as if it ‘were–’ ME, myself, in a needful, and blind and deceived state.

This, I ask of you only– see them as I do, for once– this was YOU TOO– before I came through for you.”

DO NOT FIGHT THE YOKE, FOR SOME THINGS HAVE BEEN UNNECESSARILY PROLONGED," says the Lord! Cleaning House and Reigniting the Church "I AM," says the Lord. "I AM, and I WILL have My way," says the Lord. "However, this is a process. The people must learn – the Church MUST LEARN – to not just sit there and turn a blind eye to wickedness, to what is unholy. They slink back as if they have no authority. They teach the people to ignore and it snuffs out their light. "However, I the Lord am going to reignite the fire in the Church. I am going to give them a desire to operate in that authority. However, there must be a changing of the guard first, for there are too many leaders doing deeds in the darkness and then speaking about the light as if they KNOW ME. Depart from Me, you workers of iniquity, for I NEVER KNEW YOU. [There has been] too much intermixing of what IS NOT OF ME with what is of the filth of this world, and it has created a gross concoction that is causing brambles in the souls of the people. And I, the Lord, am bringing rectification and a hard adjustment to the Church, as the Church should speak boldly the Word of God; they should be utilizing the sword of the Spirit. They should not be welcoming the ways of Moab and the ways of Sodom into MY HOUSE," SAYS THE LORD. "And this will change suddenly," says the Lord. "A sudden gust of wind will knock much out of MY HOUSE that does not belong. Watch and see," says the Lord, "for it is almost upon you. The hour has almost come." A Collapse in Europe and a Light Out of Europe The Spirit of the Lord says this day, "A collapse in Europe across multiple countries... For there is a 'bearing down' on Europe, and the leaders are desperate. And fools will rush in and make deals with devils that will oppress the people. However, there shall be a light out of Europe. A nation shall raise up a leader that fears the Lord, and that leader will be a beacon of light, a light on a hill that other countries shall take notice of, and some will follow suit; for Europe is in danger of a deep freeze on many fronts," says the Lord. "Do not allow the enemy to become your salvation, for there is a way," says the Lord, "to circumvent the clamps that have been put upon you. The leaders who look to ME WILL SEE IT. For it is unusual, but it is the way to circumvent in this hour. Poles shall arise in Europe; a 'ski' shall arise in leadership. I the Lord have called them and appointed them for such a time." Take Courage! The Great Push Has Begun The Spirit of the Lord says this day, "Take courage. Do not allow hopelessness to set in now, for the great turn and the great push has begun... A blow to the head for one in high office...just watch, for it shall rattle the hub." A Change in Direction The Lord of hosts says, "I am turning you, My children, as well – a change in direction. While some are heading right for Sodom, as Lot so headed to the way of sin, those I have truly anointed – I am changing their direction. You shall go the way of the Lord. You shall see gates open," says the Lord. "You shall see the strongholds come down. You shall see promotion in this hour, and favor. For the favor was upon Abraham," says the Lord, "not Lot. And who is who shall be made clear as you go forth into a new arena, for I have trained you well for this hour. I, the Lord, have equipped you. I, the Lord, have positioned you. And you shall go forth for My glory, knowing, My children, that I the Lord am with you even until the end of the age. And your path is becoming straight, while those who have mixed tonics – their path they have entered is jagged and crooked. The SON Is on the Horizon! Watch for Another Historic Ruling "I am your Comforter, I am your Father and I am instructing you. Open your ears to listen to what the Spirit has to say, for I the Lord say it is a new day for you. The SON is on the horizon after a very dark season. The light has just begun to break forth. Receive it as I the Lord raise a banner in your lives and in this nation, for it is Mine to give; it is not the enemy's to take. "And another ruling is coming from the judges I have anointed that will be historic and turn the breach even more. Watch, it is coming. Rejoice this day, for I have made it, and know that I am on the throne! Thus says the Lord of hosts, in the name of Jesus Christ who sits at MY right hand, amen." This is a word for those who are no longer sure what to believe, who to trust, questioning the reality of everything they see around them. Those who have even had the passing thought, “God, are You real, or is this also a lie?” Cast down any condemnation from the enemy. Even John the Baptist struggled with what to believe (Luke 17:18-23).

Know that He loves you. He is reaching to you, asking you to take hold of His hand, so that He can pull you to Himself, wrapping you in His arms of love. What you have or are dealing with has been orchestrated by the enemy. Your Faithful Shepherd is with you to free you from the briars and heal any wounds. The enemy is a liar. You are well held and protected in Him. Run to Him, not away from Him.

Be aware that what you are experiencing is a diabolical, well thought, and implemented plan, of not just the adversary, but humans aligned with his purposes on earth. The plan was to divide. The plan was separate. The plan was to bring people to a place where they question everything and everyone. For believers, the enemy also seeks to undermine our faith, and our trust, while fulfilling his ultimate goals: to kill, steal and destroy.

Has the adversary planted thoughts such as, "I am not seeing God move", "I don't see fruit from my prayers" or maybe, “Where are the manifestations of the words He has spoken to me?”

Lovingly, I say, let’s first remove the “I” and the “me” from these questions, and turn our eyes, mind, and hearts fully toward Him… the faithful One. This is not so much about you... it is about His faithfulness to His covenant with you, for you. He IS faithful. Once you see His face, and rest in His love, then fear is gone, faith is restored. Fear cannot flourish in love.

There was a time when the military followed through with their promise: No one left behind. Can you see, with recent political events, how even this standard mode of military operation has been undermined by the enemy? Those in authority, with the ability to care and protect, left people behind. The adversary has used this to try and plant within the Body the notion that God is like man, and maybe, just maybe He will leave us on our own. God is not a man. He does not lie (Numb. 23:19). He will not leave you anywhere. You ARE NOT left behind. You are IN Him. He is IN you.

God hasn’t and isn’t leaving you. God has not left you. He WILL NOT leave you. He WILL NOT forsake you. HE IS the REAL DEAL. There is no darkness in Him. He cannot, will not, lie. HE is faithful. HE IS faithful. HE IS FAITHFUL, and He is faithful to YOU. Always. Forever.

He has the answers you seek. He knows and holds your future, not man. Do not look on the face of man to see who you are. Do not look to man to give to you what He supplies. He IS life. He IS light. He IS love. He IS truth. He does not change… the same yesterday, today and forever. He is in your moment; He is in your now. Always working on your behalf. He is for you, not against you. Trust in His faithfulness. Rest in the knowledge that what He has begun, He will complete (Phil. 1:6).

It is tempting to check on seed sown. Have you ever seen a farmer, moment by moment, day after day, run out to his field, looking for a plant to sprout up through the earth? Does he turn up the soil, to catch a glimpse of what the seed is doing, or to check if it has broken out of its shell yet? He trusts, and knows then when the seed is planted, it will produce, because the soil was prepared, and ready for the process of new life to begin. Just like the farmer, trust that the seed of His promises given to you will produce and multiply. Don't check on the seeds… check with Him.

Eyes on Him, only Him. Ears open to Him, only Him. A heart postured with love and surrender before Him. Turn your back on all else, so that He alone is your focus and your desire. To close the door of a house and enter into the protection it offers, one cannot step over the threshold and keep one foot outside. No, to close the door, one must have both feet in… all the way in. Come in, all in. Doubt your doubts… leaving them outside. Rest in His faithfulness. Rest in His love. Both are sure… the REAL DEAL.

Satan’s distorted mimicry Last night I dreamt that the Holy Spirit was showing me through an art gallery. He took me through and showed me first simple works from other religions of the world. First I saw the ying and yang circle with a swirl through the middle, the I saw God’s work beside it, I saw a live picture of a human baby in the uterus in the earliest stage of pregnancy and it was about to split into twins, two babies facing opposite each other made up a circle. Next I saw a transvestite abomination in woman’s dress, makeup and hair and high heels dancing, then beside it God’s creation, a beautiful woman.
I saw depictions of babies being aborted then beside it were then I I saw Old testament animal sacrifices to God and Abraham about to sacrifice his son Isaac and the angel that stopped him.

I saw many more like this, each was Satan’s cheaply mimicking God’s creation as a mocking taunt. Then I woke up.

We must each learn to recognize when something comes from Satan, versus God’s perfect design. Jesus said in;

1 Peter 5:8 Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.

Genesis 3:1-7 (We learn how crafty and deceiving Satan is)

1 Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?” 2 The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, 3 but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’” 4 “You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman. 5 “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” 6 When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. 7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.

Even Jesus was tempted by Satan’s deception and twisting of the truth in Matthew 4

Jesus Is Tested in the Wilderness 1 Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted[a] by the devil. 2 After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. 3 The tempter came to him and said, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.” 4 Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’[b]” 5 Then the devil took him to the holy city and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. 6 “If you are the Son of God,” he said, “throw yourself down. For it is written: “‘He will command his angels concerning you,
    and they will lift you up in their hands,
    so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’[c]” 7 Jesus answered him, “It is also written: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’[d]” 8 Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. 9 “All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.” 10 Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.’[e]” 11 Then the devil left him, and angels came and attended him.

In Matthew 7:15-20 we are warned; Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.

If we are unable to discern Satan’s antics from God creation we are told in James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, who giveth to all men liberally and upbraideth not, and it shall be given him.

Romans 2:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

We must pay careful attention to what we listen to and accept as truth.

John 15:7 But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted!

Which means that so long as we are constantly in close communion with Jesus and in God’s word, our thoughts will align with his and we will be able to discern The devils deceiving tactics from God’s beautiful, real and pure creations and words.
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

"A Dual Harvest Is Underway" Charissa Steffens, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia

Recently, I came across an unusual picture of a shimmering wheat field abutting a dense lavender field. Both plants were in full bloom and ready for harvest. I was captivated by the contrast of the rich purple crop against the golden stalks of wheat. As I reflected upon the image, the Holy Spirit began to stir in me a sense of timing and significance regarding what I was seeing. He highlighted to me that there is more than one great harvest that has begun across the globe—there are two. A dual harvest is underway. The Wheat Crop Harvest time is referenced throughout the Bible due to the importance of the event in biblical culture. Harvest is a time of fulfillment—a time of seeing the fruits of long-awaited seeds, which were planted in faith, ripen for purpose. Harvests release purpose, joy and, most of all, great provision.

In Christian analogies, the wheat harvest is synonymous with evangelism and bringing people to the knowledge of the saving love of Jesus Christ (Matthew 9:37-38; John 4:34-35). As the glory of the Lord increases across the earth, many are beginning to open their 'ears' to the truth of the revelation of Jesus. As the cares of this world weigh people down, they are searching for the Way, the Truth, and the Life that only Jesus can bring (John 14:6). (Photo via Pxhere) When wheat is harvested, its most common purpose is to produce flour for a daily staple—bread. Our salvation experience is our daily bread; it is what keeps us living and moving forward each day. In Matthew 6:11, when Jesus said, "Give us this day our daily bread," He showed the significance of how our daily needs are met through this saving relationship. The Lord of the harvest has been preparing many to become one with the Bread of Life in the months and years ahead. The Lavender Crop While this great revelation of salvation is being poured out across the globe, there is currently another crop that is being harvested—the lavender crop. Lavender, or a form of it, is represented in the Bible as spikenard or nard. It is transformed for its purpose through being crushing into a precious and powerful anointing oil or perfume that is used for fragrance, to purify, and to heal. When it was used to anoint Jesus, its fragrance filled the whole house (John 12:3). This crop is a costly crop; its preparation for harvest is longer, and it must withstand many more seasons than the wheat crop which ripens quickly. It is a harvest of intimacy that produces the most precious produce...a harvest of the poured-out ones—the ones whose greatest desire is Jesus. Just like Mary in John 12:3, this is a harvest of the ones who declare back to Jesus, "You've captured my heart, dear friend. You looked at me, and I fell in love" (Song of Solomon 4:9).

This harvest will produce healing, resurrection, and miracles as they awaken to a new level of intimacy with Jesus. Things that were once dead, areas that seemed impossible, things that were lost—they will carry the anointing to see the turnaround needed. (Photo via Pxhere) In biblical times, some cultures would put solid cones of nard salves on their heads, and they would melt and cover their bodies with perfume. This is representative of how they will operate—drenched in the anointing and fragrance of Christ. An Invitation to the Two Great Harvests The Body of Christ is being invited to partake in these two great harvests in the months and years in front of us. We are not spectators; rather, we who have been through the wheat harvest are to submit ourselves to be harvested once again...to surrender all back to Jesus, the Lord of the harvest, wherever we are in our journey with Him. We are being called to be harvested first, before we can harvest. It is only in the crushing that we can release what is needed in the months and years to come—the powerful fragrance and anointing that will bring the transformation of our nations. As we allow Jesus to harvest us, we will be released to harvest others. This is not a harvest of the many by a few, but a dual harvest simultaneously—by all. Yes, I have the big picture and know the end from the beginning, says God. You’re a kingdom child, and you know my ways are not your ways and my thoughts your thoughts. My ways are perfect, so acknowledge me always for it is the right thing to do. The celebration season is here, a time to make merry for your freedom and rising. "A Time of Divine Visitations and Promises Fulfilled" Yvon Attia, Miami, Florida Around late August, my husband Mina came to me and said, "I feel the time of fulfillment. I have a burden that with the start of the new month of September, promises will begin to manifest and be fulfilled in many lives." I knew God was saying something, with a specific direction to pray, but the Lord often will reveal little by little. As we press in, He reveals more and more. As September started to approach, I began to seek God for what was on His heart. One morning, I woke up to the sound of a gentle whisper telling me to open my Bible to Genesis 21. In total obedience, I ran to the Word and started reading. "And the LORD visited Sarah as He had said, and the LORD did for Sarah as He had spoken." (Genesis 21:1) Divine Visitations As I read these words, a sense of excitement began to fill my being, and as I started to take this verse into prayer, I heard the voice of the Holy Spirit clearly point out that the month of September will be a month of divine visitations. Yet the purpose of these visitations is not to deliver a new promise, but rather to fulfill what was previously promised. I went back to read this powerful verse again. The Lord visited Sarah, and the Lord did for Sarah as He had spoken. At that time, God started to take me on a journey and teach me about divine visitations. He pointed out that each divine visitation must always have a purpose. For example, God visited Abraham and promised him and his descendants the land of Canaan and to make him a great nation, and that the families of the earth would be blessed (see Genesis 12). Clearly, the time to fulfill these promises had not yet come. Later, God visited him again in order to assure him that He was going to have a biological child (see Genesis 15:1-5; Genesis 17:15-19). Another powerful visitation took place in Genesis 18:10 when, through one of His messengers, God said to him, "I will return to you about this time next year, and your wife, Sarah, will have a son!" Once again, Abraham needed to wait before he could see the fulfillment of this promise. (Photo via Picryl) Interestingly, he was ninety-nine years old at that time, and so it was impossible to see the fulfillment of the promise come to pass. Previously, Abraham tried to get God to agree that his servant, Eliezer of Damascus, would be his heir. God said, "This one shall not be your heir..." (Genesis 15:4). Once again, Abraham contended with God, saying, "How about Ishmael?" Once again, God said, "No, Sarah your wife shall bear you a son..." (Genesis 17:19). In other words, "Abraham, you still need to wait and see the fulfillment of what I have promised you." At that time, God started to remind me of old promises which I had forgotten – impossible promises, dead promises, scary promises and unbelievable promises too. I was also reminded of people in my life who promised certain things and never fulfilled these promises. Then I heard God say, "I am unlike those who promise and never fulfill. When I promise you, I come to fulfill also – no matter how impossible the situation may seem, or how dead the situation looks." My spirit was so full of joy, and I continued reading. The Word clearly tells us, "For Sarah conceived and bore Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him" (Genesis 21:2). The Bible is clear to specify that it was not Hagar who bore Issac; rather, fulfillment took place through the woman with a dead womb. "And Sarah declared, 'God has brought me laughter. All who hear about this will laugh with me. Who would have said to Abraham that Sarah would nurse a baby? Yet I have given Abraham a son in his old age!'" (Genesis 21:6-7) Promises Fulfilled Toward the end of August, as I was sharing this with my husband, he became overjoyed as the Lord was saying the same thing to him also. The Lord spoke with him clearly about the promise of the Father and how Jesus promised the disciples that He would never leave them, and He would send them another equal to and like Him. But they had to wait for the fulfillment of the promise. When Jesus ascended, the Father poured out the Holy Spirit; so there was a fulfillment and manifestation of the promise! My husband confirmed that just as this almighty promise of the Holy Spirit was fulfilled with a clear manifestation, so will many promises be fulfilled that have been delayed, hindered and even dead like Sarah's womb. But the Lord will visit many with divine visitations for the fulfillment of their promises. At that time, I found myself laughing with joy. God will visit His people to fulfill what He has previously promised them. There is no situation that's too hard for God. Nothing is impossible for Him. (Photo via Unsplash) I lifted my hands into the air and started to give Him praise for the month of September, and as I started to praise Him, I started to hear His sweet voice downloading this gentle word: The Time of Blessing "Are you ready to receive the month of divine visitation? Are you ready for divine fulfillment? You have waited long enough to see your promises come to pass. You have prayed, you have believed and now is the time. "In the natural, it's impossible; but when it's impossible for the world, it's possible for Me. When your promise is dead, that's My chance to show you that I am God Almighty, full of power and full of might. For Issac shall be born. I will be on time, not too early and not too late. "The fulfillment of My promises will bring laughter to you. You will no longer laugh because of unbelief, but because of bewilderment. You will be bewildered at My goodness; you will be bewildered at how those promises will unfold. You will laugh and others will laugh at what I am about to do. "Do not ask Me how. Is there anything impossible for Me? Trust Me with all your heart. Trust Me with your mind and know that I am opening a way; I am making room for you to prosper, making room for you to thrive. You will no longer be broken down. You will be receiving your breakthrough. For the King has desired your beauty; He has chosen you to show His glory, His majesty, His power. "Get rid of the work of the flesh. Cast out every scoffing thought of unbelief; cast out every doubt, for the time of your visitation has come. The time of blessing has arrived." The Government of Jesus Christ!

We have heard it talked about many times, how Jesus Christ is not only the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, but how He Himself is the Head of the Government of God. What many have probably never hear talked about, is our Role and Responsibility within that Government.

The disciples when they were following Jesus Christ, (while He was on the earth), believed that Jesus was going to overthrow the Romans (who ruled almost the whole world at that time) and institute the government of God in a physical manner during their lifetime. This is why Peter reacted the way he did when Jesus talked about being killed:

 "From that time forth Jesus began [clearly] to show His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders and the high priests and scribes, and be killed, and on the third day be raised [a]from death.
 Then Peter took Him aside [b]to speak to Him privately and began to reprove and [c]charge Him sharply, saying, God forbid, Lord! This must never happen to You!" Matthew 16:21-22

What the disciples didn't know at the time, was that they were going to be the ones who were going to be used by the Holy Spirit to Transform the world, but that could only happen through Jesus's death and Resurrection! They couldn't see how Jesus's death could be a good thing for the Kingdom at that time, but what Jesus Christ did was similar to what God did with Moses and the elders of Israel:

 "So Moses went out and told the people the words of the Lord, and he gathered seventy men of the elders of the people and set them round about the Tent.
 And the Lord came down in the cloud and spoke to him, and TOOK OF THE SPIRIT THAT WAS UPON HIM AND PUT IT UPON THE SEVENTY ELDERS; AND WHEN THE SPIRIT RESTED UPON THEM, THEY PROPHESIED [sounding forth the praises of God and declaring His will]. Then they did so no more." Numbers 11:24-25

Jesus Christ has chosen the Church and the Body of Christ as members of His Government, not by a political process, but by the Impartation and Power of the Holy Spirit! You weren't chosen by God because of your great speaking abilities, powerful charisma or your physical appearances, but because of a surrendered life to King Jesus and by the infilling of the Holy Spirit of God Himself!

From that point forward, those elders of Israel helped carry the nation as its government with Moses by the same Spirit that was upon Moses. If you've been Born Again and have received the Holy Spirit, then you are part of God's Government in the earth.

 "DO YOU NOT KNOW THAT THE SAINTS (the believers) WILL JUDGE AND GOVERN THE WORLD? And if the world [itself] is to be judged and ruled by you, are you unworthy and incompetent to try [such petty matters] of the smallest courts of justice?" 1 Corinthians 6:2

If God has invested this Power within us (and upon us) then we must ask ourselves "What are we doing with this Power and Authority?" Are we truly advancing Jesus's purposes in the earth? Are we truly preaching that the Kingdom of Heaven is at Hand? Or are we sitting upon that Talent (Matthew 25:15-28) that God has Given us and doing nothing with it?

Jesus Christ has given the Saints jurisdictional control of the earth and everything in it by the Power of the Holy Spirit, not to influence it through the wisdom of mens talk but by the Demonstration of the Holy Spirit and His Power!

 "FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD CONSISTS OF AND IS BASED ON NOT TALK BUT POWER." 1 Corinthians 4:20

If we really are to ever see real change in the earth and the people around us, then it is going to manifest by the Power of God through the Demonstration of the Holy Spirit!

Your words (and Natural wisdom) will never be able to convince anyone about the Truth of God, but if you allow the Holy Spirit to speak and move through your life the way that He desires to, then His Power and Ability will manifest in the place of yours and people will run to experience real relationship with Jesus Christ the King!

Is History Being Erased? God has a Plan

Dream: I am out in the mountains in what looks like a miner’s town, standing at first on one side of railway tracks which go into a cave on the left. I am with my husband and daughter and from the right a train comes by. I am hoping there’s a memorial to Rob’s dad in that train, but it passes by and I don’t think it has one. Then I’m across the tracks from the town’s wooden buildings, recently constructed, and my friend is over there. Another train is coming from the east and I mouth the words to her to check to see if there is a memorial to my father-in-law on this next train. The train stops for a moment and my friend climbs in to ask the conductor this question and she hops back out and shakes her head to me, saying “No”. The train is an old fashioned type, black with white writing in different places all over the engine, names of vets that have died fighting in battles. But my father-in-law’s name is not there, representing the World Wars in the past. This trains had other names of people who had just fought this recent battle. In the dream I felt that HISTORY WAS BEING ERASED OR BURIED, being put into this cave vault. The dream continued and I found myself in the back of a vehicle in an open cart, on the way to work in the fields. We passed by a bakery where baked goods were displayed outside, free for everyone. I grabbed a bun as we went by, knowing that my work in the field would be my contribution to living in this community that had been like a place of resettlement after a war. It was a communal place, where everyone had a part to play in helping build this new place out in a remote mountain area.

In confirmation of my feeling in the dream that history was being erased or buried, I came across a news headline that Canada’s prime minister has ordered over 7000 historical archives to be deleted from the government records. My spirit leapt within me to confirm that my dream was a true dream of things to come.

Those in power may wish to erase history as much as they like, but truth will always prevail. God told Moses and others in the Bible to record the things that have happened, especially how God led His people and the miracles He did. We are to set up memorials as remembrance of our Godly heritage and even just to record events in history. The Bible itself is a record of history and of the good and evil events in the world and people that have lived.

There is something coming that is going to shake the world. We will be living a much simpler life, as Jesus once told me. But it will be a time of rebuilding and of God restoring what the enemy has stolen from us. A time of rejoicing is coming. Beauty for ashes, a rising up out of the dust. Dry bones will come to life again and flowers will bloom in the desert.

All is not dark on the horizon. There is a time of shaking and judgement for the unrighteous, but God will look after His own people. Some will become casualties of war but we will be in God’s hands, in the shelter of His wings.

Haggai 1:3-15 God says “why do you live in paneled houses while my house remains a ruin?” 3 Then the word of the Lord came through the prophet Haggai: 4 “Is it a time for you yourselves to be living in your paneled houses, while this house remains a ruin?”

5 Now this is what the Lord Almighty says: “Give careful thought to your ways. 6 You have planted much, but harvested little. You eat, but never have enough. You drink, but never have your fill. You put on clothes, but are not warm. You earn wages, only to put them in a purse with holes in it.”

7 This is what the Lord Almighty says: “Give careful thought to your ways. 8 Go up into the mountains and bring down timber and build my house, so that I may take pleasure in it and be honored,” says the Lord. 9 “You expected much, but see, it turned out to be little. What you brought home, I blew away. Why?” declares the Lord Almighty. “Because of my house, which remains a ruin, while each of you is busy with your own house. 10 Therefore, because of you the heavens have withheld their dew and the earth its crops. 11 I called for a drought on the fields and the mountains, on the grain, the new wine, the olive oil and everything else the ground produces, on people and livestock, and on all the labor of your hands.”

12 Then Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, Joshua son of Jozadak, the high priest, and the whole remnant of the people obeyed the voice of the Lord their God and the message of the prophet Haggai, because the Lord their God had sent him. And the people feared the Lord.

13 Then Haggai, the Lord’s messenger, gave this message of the Lord to the people: “I am with you,” declares the Lord. 14 So the Lord stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua son of Jozadak, the high priest, and the spirit of the whole remnant of the people. They came and began to work on the house of the Lord Almighty, their God, 15 on the twenty-fourth day of the sixth month.

Matthew 5:44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,

Judgment on the Idolaters

9 Then I heard him call out in a loud voice, “Bring near those who are appointed to execute judgment on the city, each with a weapon in his hand.” 2 And I saw six men coming from the direction of the upper gate, which faces north, each with a deadly weapon in his hand. With them was a man clothed in linen who had a writing kit at his side. They came in and stood beside the bronze altar.

3 Now the glory of the God of Israel went up from above the cherubim, where it had been, and moved to the threshold of the temple. Then the Lord called to the man clothed in linen who had the writing kit at his side 4 and said to him, “Go throughout the city of Jerusalem and put a mark on the foreheads of those who grieve and lament over all the detestable things that are done in it.”

5 As I listened, he said to the others, “Follow him through the city and kill, without showing pity or compassion. 6 Slaughter the old men, the young men and women, the mothers and children, but do not touch anyone who has the mark. Begin at my sanctuary.” So they began with the old men who were in front of the temple.

7 Then he said to them, “Defile the temple and fill the courts with the slain. Go!” So they went out and began killing throughout the city. 8 While they were killing and I was left alone, I fell facedown, crying out, “Alas, Sovereign Lord! Are you going to destroy the entire remnant of Israel in this outpouring of your wrath on Jerusalem?”

9 He answered me, “The sin of the people of Israel and Judah is exceedingly great; the land is full of bloodshed and the city is full of injustice. They say, ‘The Lord has forsaken the land; the Lord does not see.’ 10 So I will not look on them with pity or spare them, but I will bring down on their own heads what they have done.”

11 Then the man in linen with the writing kit at his side brought back word, saying, “I have done as you commanded.”

The Lord led me here in scripture this morning- -America heed this warning!!!!!

Ezekiel 5:1-17 and 6:1-10 God’s Razor of Judgment

5 “Now, son of man, take a sharp sword and use it as a barber’s razor to shave your head and your beard. Then take a set of scales and divide up the hair. 2 When the days of your siege come to an end, burn a third of the hair inside the city. Take a third and strike it with the sword all around the city. And scatter a third to the wind. For I will pursue them with drawn sword. 3 But take a few hairs and tuck them away in the folds of your garment. 4 Again, take a few of these and throw them into the fire and burn them up. A fire will spread from there to all Israel.

5 “This is what the Sovereign Lord says: This is Jerusalem, which I have set in the center of the nations, with countries all around her. 6 Yet in her wickedness she has rebelled against my laws and decrees more than the nations and countries around her. She has rejected my laws and has not followed my decrees.

7 “Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: You have been more unruly than the nations around you and have not followed my decrees or kept my laws. You have not even[a] conformed to the standards of the nations around you.

8 “Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I myself am against you, Jerusalem, and I will inflict punishment on you in the sight of the nations. 9 Because of all your detestable idols, I will do to you what I have never done before and will never do again. 10 Therefore in your midst parents will eat their children, and children will eat their parents. I will inflict punishment on you and will scatter all your survivors to the winds. 11 Therefore as surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, because you have defiled my sanctuary with all your vile images and detestable practices, I myself will shave you; I will not look on you with pity or spare you. 12 A third of your people will die of the plague or perish by famine inside you; a third will fall by the sword outside your walls; and a third I will scatter to the winds and pursue with drawn sword.

13 “Then my anger will cease and my wrath against them will subside, and I will be avenged. And when I have spent my wrath on them, they will know that I the Lord have spoken in my zeal.

14 “I will make you a ruin and a reproach among the nations around you, in the sight of all who pass by. 15 You will be a reproach and a taunt, a warning and an object of horror to the nations around you when I inflict punishment on you in anger and in wrath and with stinging rebuke. I the Lord have spoken. 16 When I shoot at you with my deadly and destructive arrows of famine, I will shoot to destroy you. I will bring more and more famine upon you and cut off your supply of food. 17 I will send famine and wild beasts against you, and they will leave you childless. Plague and bloodshed will sweep through you, and I will bring the sword against you. I the Lord have spoken.”

Doom for the Mountains of Israel

6 The word of the Lord came to me: 2 “Son of man, set your face against the mountains of Israel; prophesy against them 3 and say: ‘You mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Sovereign Lord. This is what the Sovereign Lord says to the mountains and hills, to the ravines and valleys: I am about to bring a sword against you, and I will destroy your high places. 4 Your altars will be demolished and your incense altars will be smashed; and I will slay your people in front of your idols. 5 I will lay the dead bodies of the Israelites in front of their idols, and I will scatter your bones around your altars. 6 Wherever you live, the towns will be laid waste and the high places demolished, so that your altars will be laid waste and devastated, your idols smashed and ruined, your incense altars broken down, and what you have made wiped out. 7 Your people will fall slain among you, and you will know that I am the Lord.

8 “‘But I will spare some, for some of you will escape the sword when you are scattered among the lands and nations. 9 Then in the nations where they have been carried captive, those who escape will remember me—how I have been grieved by their adulterous hearts, which have turned away from me, and by their eyes, which have lusted after their idols. They will loathe themselves for the evil they have done and for all their detestable practices. 10 And they will know that I am the Lord; I did not threaten in vain to bring this calamity on them.

11 “‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Strike your hands together and stamp your feet and cry out “Alas!” because of all the wicked and detestable practices of the people of Israel, for they will fall by the sword, famine and plague. 12 One who is far away will die of the plague, and one who is near will fall by the sword, and anyone who survives and is spared will die of famine. So will I pour out my wrath on them. 13 And they will know that I am the Lord, when their people lie slain among their idols around their altars, on every high hill and on all the mountaintops, under every spreading tree and every leafy oak—places where they offered fragrant incense to all their idols. 14 And I will stretch out my hand against them and make the land a desolate waste from the desert to Diblah[a]—wherever they live. Then they will know that I am the Lord.’”

The End Has Come

7 The word of the Lord came to me: 2 “Son of man, this is what the Sovereign Lord says to the land of Israel:

“‘The end! The end has come upon the four corners of the land! 3 The end is now upon you, and I will unleash my anger against you. I will judge you according to your conduct and repay you for all your detestable practices. 4 I will not look on you with pity; I will not spare you. I will surely repay you for your conduct and for the detestable practices among you. “‘Then you will know that I am the Lord.’

5 “This is what the Sovereign Lord says:

“‘Disaster! Unheard-of[a] disaster! See, it comes! 6 The end has come! The end has come! It has roused itself against you. See, it comes! 7 Doom has come upon you, upon you who dwell in the land. The time has come! The day is near! There is panic, not joy, on the mountains. 8 I am about to pour out my wrath on you and spend my anger against you. I will judge you according to your conduct and repay you for all your detestable practices. 9 I will not look on you with pity; I will not spare you. I will repay you for your conduct and for the detestable practices among you. “‘Then you will know that it is I the Lord who strikes you.

10 “‘See, the day! See, it comes! Doom has burst forth, the rod has budded, arrogance has blossomed! 11 Violence has arisen,[b] a rod to punish the wicked. None of the people will be left, none of that crowd— none of their wealth, nothing of value. 12 The time has come! The day has arrived! Let not the buyer rejoice nor the seller grieve, for my wrath is on the whole crowd. 13 The seller will not recover the property that was sold— as long as both buyer and seller live. For the vision concerning the whole crowd will not be reversed. Because of their sins, not one of them will preserve their life. 14 “‘They have blown the trumpet, they have made all things ready, but no one will go into battle, for my wrath is on the whole crowd. 15 Outside is the sword; inside are plague and famine. Those in the country will die by the sword; those in the city will be devoured by famine and plague. 16 The fugitives who escape will flee to the mountains. Like doves of the valleys, they will all moan, each for their own sins. 17 Every hand will go limp; every leg will be wet with urine. 18 They will put on sackcloth and be clothed with terror. Every face will be covered with shame, and every head will be shaved. 19 “‘They will throw their silver into the streets, and their gold will be treated as a thing unclean. Their silver and gold will not be able to deliver them in the day of the Lord’s wrath. It will not satisfy their hunger or fill their stomachs, for it has caused them to stumble into sin. 20 They took pride in their beautiful jewelry and used it to make their detestable idols. They made it into vile images; therefore I will make it a thing unclean for them. 21 I will give their wealth as plunder to foreigners and as loot to the wicked of the earth, who will defile it. 22 I will turn my face away from the people, and robbers will desecrate the place I treasure. They will enter it and will defile it. 23 “‘Prepare chains! For the land is full of bloodshed, and the city is full of violence. 24 I will bring the most wicked of nations to take possession of their houses. I will put an end to the pride of the mighty, and their sanctuaries will be desecrated. 25 When terror comes, they will seek peace in vain. 26 Calamity upon calamity will come, and rumor upon rumor. They will go searching for a vision from the prophet, priestly instruction in the law will cease, the counsel of the elders will come to an end. 27 The king will mourn, the prince will be clothed with despair, and the hands of the people of the land will tremble. I will deal with them according to their conduct, and by their own standards I will judge them. “‘Then they will know that I am the Lord.’”

Is this the end? No! I see light in the nations. I see the Jews returning to their land from all over the world. Do not fear, says the Lord. If you fear, they will know it. If you fear, your enemies will know it. Do you remember when the spies returned from the land and they said we are afraid for the giants are in the land. They said these words: they said, "they saw us as grasshoppers, therefore we saw ourselves as grasshoppers. Therefore, they saw us as grasshoppers as well." We are not grasshoppers! We are giant slayers. We are Davids of this world! We are Davids of this world! We are the Davids of this world. We don't see the giants; we see the slayed. We see a mighty army being raised up. Arise in this meeting, O Lord. Speak to us and destroy the power of our enemies, I pray in the Name Yeshua! And the Spirit of the Lord told me, it is impossible for the nations to conduct this kind of warfare without prophetic insight and wisdom. And so as He said those words to me, He said, I am preparing the world, the nations of the world, I am preparing them for the prophets. You may say, "well, there are plenty of prophets around." I want you to know that God is preparing the nations of the world for true prophets of God - not prophets that will prophesy the judgments that we continually hear about, God judging our nation and God judging America. We've heard that. Judgments will come and go; but what about the blessing of God that I have spoken about so many times? God told me that it is time for true prophets to arise and offer an intelligence that is not available by the Secret Service, by the CIA, by MI5, 6 or 7. I want you to know, it is not available. God is bringing to the fore, true prophets that will show the exact whereabouts; it's happened with me. I saw this; I even saw a person arising out of ISIS and prophesied it years ago that would have one eye that would be blinded. But actually, underneath all of that, he became a believer. It is my firm belief as I address you today, and I will prophesy it to the kings of the earth, that God has purposed to raise out of this horrific movement of terrorism and hatred, strong believers that will proclaim the name of Yeshua. If you truly believe that, say yes! Are you seeing what I'm hearing? I'm hearing the sound of victory. I'm hearing the sound of a multitude of God's army that are preparing for a global awakening in the world right now - a move of the Spirit that is unprecedented; has never been seen or felt ever before. ...God has purposed to confound this enemy like no other. Not Al Qaeda, not one of them have ever been dealt with in the manner that God is going to deal with ISIS. Not only has ISIS come against God's people, but they have planned many other things in Canada. They're already present in the United States of America and in certain states. They're already present in Belgium and Germany. They're present in Turkey; they are present all over Europe as well. They are prepared for a huge battle. However, when I was praying, I said to the Lord, open my eyes like you opened the eyes of Elisha. Suddenly my eyes were opened and I saw it. I saw thousands of angels gathered to fight this fight. Do you really believe that God's going to leave us alone? Do you really believe that God's going to do nothing about this terrible attack that's come against our children, against the children and the future? They're not attacking the present; they are attacking the future. And when they attack the future, they are attacking Omega. When they attack the future, they are attacking the end, the last; they are attacking the One who is, who always will be, who has made a declaration that the earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof. Canada will be protected. Colorado will be protected. New Mexico will be protected (in the United States, now). New York, over and over and over, will be protected. God will protect even Chicago even though He sniffs at it and there is a stench, is what He said to me. He said He will even protect the Capitol….. He's going to do it over and over again as long as you and I pray with insight and not with fear. We act out of faith and not fear and unbelief. If the enemy is doing so much, why would God sit and do nothing? No, He's not. There are conversions taking place. Nine groups will arise that will be dissatisfied with ISIS and they will even be worse and yet they will not plunder the righteous of the Lord. They will not touch them. There will be a few deaths here and there, but what they are planning will not happen. There are many other states that God told me about. He said even the White House - even though I block My nose and want to spew them out of My mouth, the stench that has come from the White House. Do you hear what God just said? Even so because of My elect. Even because of My elect will I protect, says the Lord. This is a very big Prophetic Alert. I want you to listen. Their names will be scrolled out . . . 1, 2, 3 . . . 10, 20 of them at a time, as they are exposed. And one of the biggest leaders that has been in hiding shall cry out for help before the summer comes to this nation. They will say, "How could he have fallen so strongly?" Because, you see, God says, I have put agents in their midst who will betray them and the betrayal shall hurt them so badly and pierce them so badly that they will cry out and scatter. You've got to understand - God has a plan. Have you seen it? Do you understand that He has young people that He's going to raise up - your young people, your grandchildren that He's going to raise up to be a voice in this nation and the nations of the earth.

Some of you who have been serving the Lord for several years now may still remember a message or a prophetic word that impacted your life. You remember the details and the voice of the person who relayed the message from the Holy Spirit. When you receive a revelation, that “rhema” word is imbedded in your heart forever. Some of you could recall the times that the Holy Spirit convicted you of something that was not beneficial for you and you simply obeyed.

He showed you areas that needed to be corrected, that may have been detrimental to your life if you continued on a certain path. He delivered you from unhealthy habits and people who were hindering your relationship with Jesus. You may have been so sensitive and receptive to the Holy Spirit at one time, but now you feel as if you’re in a dead zone. You no longer hear the Fathers’ voice.

There was a time when the voice of the Lord was rare and there was no widespread revelation. In 1 Samuel chapter 3:1, a young boy named Samuel ministered before the Lord alongside of Eli the High priest. The Lord called out to Samuel one day during the night three times but Samuel didn't recognize God's voice until Eli perceived that it was the Lord calling him. Samuel then went back, and the Lord called out to him a fourth time. Samuel replied; "Speak, for Your servant hears." He then heard God's voice for the first time.

Samuel grew up as a great prophet and none of his words fell to the ground. The Holy Spirit is calling out to you today. He wants to fine tune your hearing once again to His voice. He needs people to relay His messages in the land. He needs prayer warriors who hear his direction in intercession, and turn the nation around with their prayers. They are not afraid to stand up and pray against unrighteousness, sin and injustice because they are steadfast in their convictions

He wants to tell us the divine strategies to thwart the plans of the enemy. He will give us the discernment to see into the enemies’ camp, and dismantle his plans of destruction through the authority of our words. There is a divine shift for some of you right now that is going to move you from the pew to the pulpit. Listen for the leading of His voice for wisdom and direction. He will bring clarity for this assignment.

The Lord is speaking in dreams and visions. As you quiet your mind and posture yourself before Him, you will learn how to hear His voice and become more sensitive to Him. His voice is His word. For some of you, the distractions of the world have led you away from this divine relationship. Jesus is calling you to come back to the place where you heard His voice through the written word.

The Lord says, as you hear My voice, you will be able to discern My purpose and plans for your life and ministry. You will hear My voice with more clarity as you come away from the noise and clamor of the world. As you go to sleep at night with expectation, you will be more receptive to hear from Me in your dreams. As you renew your mind you will conform to My ways and become attune to My voice.

As you read My word and meditate upon it, you will begin to discern My plans for you. As you lift your voice to Me in praise and worship, you will begin to hear Me in the song, rise above your circumstances and rest in My presence. I will give you the answers to your questions and concerns. My voice will give you direction. My voice brings transformation, healing and deliverance.

Allow Me to remove anything that may be hindering you from hearing My voice. Stay sensitive to My voice of correction. As you continually submit and surrender totally to Me, you will be able to hear with more clarity. Know that it is always My desire to speak to you and lead you by My Spirit, says the Lord.

Psalms 32: 8 - 9 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye. Do not be like the horse or like the mule, Which have no understanding, Which must be harnessed with bit and bridle, else they will not come near you.

Proverbs 23:19 Listen, my son, and be wise, and keep your heart on the right path.

John 16:27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.

Today is the eleventh day of the eleventh month, and there is a massive paradigm shift in the realms of the spirit. You'll be glad to have seen this day because your shackles are coming off and the siege against you and all you stand for is finally being broken for freedom to reign and victory to prevail, says the father. Beloved, let freedom reign is the mantra over your head as you move towards total and complete victory, says God. This victory is a hard fought one against the most formidable of opponents. You're prevailing so expect significant changes from today. Expect the joy of the Lord to fill your heart, beloved, expect your mourning to turn into dancing, says the father. A new chapter is opening in the story of your life. It will be a glorious chapter of joy and happiness, filled with yoke easy and burden light scenarios and not the usual disappointments, delays, and downturns. You're moving forward and upwards to fulfil your purpose and great destiny. Let freedom reign is now the song to sing, says God, a song for victor’s, champions and more than conquerors, says the father.

Acts 2 The Holy Spirit Comes at Pentecost

2 When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. 2 Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. 4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues[a] as the Spirit enabled them.

5 Now there were staying in Jerusalem God-fearing Jews from every nation under heaven. 6 When they heard this sound, a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard their own language being spoken. 7 Utterly amazed, they asked: “Aren’t all these who are speaking Galileans? 8 Then how is it that each of us hears them in our native language? 9 Parthians, Medes and Elamites; residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia,[b] 10 Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya near Cyrene; visitors from Rome 11 (both Jews and converts to Judaism); Cretans and Arabs—we hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues!” 12 Amazed and perplexed, they asked one another, “What does this mean?”

13 Some, however, made fun of them and said, “They have had too much wine.”

Peter Addresses the Crowd

14 Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, raised his voice and addressed the crowd: “Fellow Jews and all of you who live in Jerusalem, let me explain this to you; listen carefully to what I say. 15 These people are not drunk, as you suppose. It’s only nine in the morning! 16 No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:

17 “‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. 18 Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy. 19 I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and billows of smoke. 20 The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord. 21 And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’[c] 22 “Fellow Israelites, listen to this: Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know. 23 This man was handed over to you by God’s deliberate plan and foreknowledge; and you, with the help of wicked men,[d] put him to death by nailing him to the cross. 24 But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him. 25 David said about him:

Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. 26 Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest in hope, 27 because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead, you will not let your holy one see decay. 28 You have made known to me the paths of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence.’[e] 29 “Fellow Israelites, I can tell you confidently that the patriarch David died and was buried, and his tomb is here to this day. 30 But he was a prophet and knew that God had promised him on oath that he would place one of his descendants on his throne. 31 Seeing what was to come, he spoke of the resurrection of the Messiah, that he was not abandoned to the realm of the dead, nor did his body see decay. 32 God has raised this Jesus to life, and we are all witnesses of it. 33 Exalted to the right hand of God, he has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear. 34 For David did not ascend to heaven, and yet he said,

“‘The Lord said to my Lord: “Sit at my right hand 35 until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.”’[f] 36 “Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah.”

37 When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?”

38 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call.”

40 With many other words he warned them; and he pleaded with them, “Save yourselves from this corrupt generation.” 41 Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.

The Fellowship of the Believers

42 They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43 Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. 44 All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45 They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. 46 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, 47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
