This latest move allows financial transactions to flow to Afghanistan in order for them to "have access not only to humanitarian assistance but also to the ability to conduct regular commercial activity."

Not so fast!

"However, it does not authorize financial transactions to the Taliban, Haqqani Network, associated entities, and any blocked individual who is in a leadership role of a governing institution in Afghanistan." (Are you going to mail checks to every resident of the country instead?)

"While sanctions relief alone cannot reverse longstanding structural challenges and the flight of technocratic and government experts due to the Taliban’s mismanagement, it can ensure that sanctions do not prevent economic activity..." (You mean the technocrats and government experts have fled the country? I wonder why.)

"Prior to the Taliban’s takeover, Afghanistan was dependent on external aid, receiving approximately $8.5 billion in grants each year, which financed 75 percent of public expenditures." (Yes, they were controlled by outside entities that have no interest in seeing Afghanistan thrive.)

"In order for the international community to engage with the central bank, it’s important that it establishes independence, bring in a third party to validate that independence, and get the kind of technical assistance that is needed..." (Who exactly gets to validate their banking independence?)

Finally, they are forced to admit that, while hundreds of millions of dollars have been flowing into Afghanistan, "the Taliban have not interfered in the delivery of those dollars in any way to date."

To be clear, I have no issue with "humanitarian aid" being sent to Afghanistan, but they are clearly not sending it to the government. They are sending it to foreign entities that are interested in controlling Afghanistan via international banking systems. Where have we seen this before?

“…I feel that the truth has a right to be told, and, once told, can be an injury to no men of good will. Only by a knowledge of the errors of the past is it possible to correct the tactics of the future.”

"The deliriously kitsch, nouveau stinking-rich living room of property developer Alex Cullen (Craig T Nelson) could belong to only one person. It’s the real apartment of Donald Trump, occupying the top four floors of Trump Tower, 725 Fifth Avenue."

It seems many people believe China will invade Taiwan. Soros claimed that China will use the Olympics as a propaganda campaign to show their strength to the world, much like Hitler did with the 1936 Olympics. Maybe this is wishful thinking, but I'm guessing China announces a peace deal/trade deal with Taiwan and others, really changing the narrative. Will we have peace or will we have war? What do you all think?
