Scary but true. I lived in Yichang (closest city down river from the dam) in that shit hole called China for 6 months.
I don't think it is housing nukes, ourselves and many other foreigners easily got access and toured the dam. The truth is very real that if that dam broke, Yichang would be wiped out in no time.
In fact many die each year and this past year I believe it was over a million who lost their homes/businesses due to the amount of flooding in that region. The Chinese government was accused of intentionally flooding because the water levels at the Dam where dangerously high.
The CCP kill their own people all of the time. Nothing new.
