This Jack Smith was said to be from Tennessee. A search of Jack Smith as a member of the Tennessee Bar returns one result from the law firm of Stranch, Jennings, and Garvey in Nashville.

I went to the website of the Nashville firm and found the picture of the Jack Smith at that firm and it's not the same "Jack Smith".
