- Parler has no way to organize anything, Facebook groups was used heavily to organize the protests.
- Protests are constitutionally protected.
- Bad actors turned the protest into a riot.
I know the media and everyone wants to point fingers and place blame. It is convenient for them to turn Parler into a scape goat. The reality that everyone pointing fingers is to blame. We need to start thinking critically again and stop blaming one another. Vice President Mike Pence refused to sign on to a plan that would upend Congress certifying the election on January 6 for President-elect Joe Biden.
Earlier this week, Rep. Louie Gohmert and Arizona's slate of Republican Electoral College 'electors' filed a federal lawsuit to get a judge to say Pence has the power to pick pro-Trump electors when he presides over the Congressional session where he will finalize the presidential election results.
Politico reported late Tuesday night that a legal filing in the case indicated that Gohmert and the electors' lawyers had reached out to Pence in advance, trying to work out a deal - and it was shot down.

A planned visit to Israel by US Vice President Mike Pence was called off less than two weeks before he was due to arrive, the US Embassy confirmed Wednesday.
No reason was given for the cancellation, which was first reported by the Ynet news site.
Pence was reportedly scheduled to make a number of stops on a final world trip before leaving office on January 20. Earlier this month, Politico reported that the vice president planned to take off on January 6 — the same day the US Congress is scheduled to confirm President-elect Joe Biden’s electoral victory — visiting a number of countries, including Israel from January 10 to 13.

On the city bus coming back from picking up my pot prescription. Two men one old about 70 and another maybe late 50s early 60s on the bus. The older guy starts cursing and being very aggressive with the other guy because his mask was on his chin not covering the deadly areas nose mouth. Other guy starts his own tirade and being aggressive. Younger guy jumps up and heads towards the older guy with fists clenched. I jump up and get between the younger and older guys. I tell the younger guy its not worth it he will spend new years in jail. Told him the guy is just a Karen and he starts laughing. Did not think he would get that lol. He sits back down and I tell the older guy to stfu and wear his mask properly. It must be down below the chin. He didnt like that but It kept the other guy from clocking him. Was a tense ride till my stop. Younger guys fists were clenched all the way. When I got off told the younger guy again its not worth it. Hope both arrived home safe lol This BS needs to end.
