CBS news special report.
For Jan 6.
Only Trump charged. Jack Smith to speak at 6
I've been following reports of Wagner and Prighozin since the coup, no the mutiny last month. Prighozin seems to be inching closer back to the center of power. And it's all because of Africa
Wagner boss Prigozhin spotted at Russia-Africa summit Warlord appears on sidelines of summit hosted by President Vladimir Putin less than a month after leading a failed mutiny against him.
Wagner chief Yevgeny Prigozhin has been photographed at a Russia-Africa summit in St. Petersburg, appearing on the sidelines of the event hosted by President Vladimir Putin just a month after launching a failed mutiny.
In two pictures circulated on social media Thursday, Prigozhin is shown wearing casual jeans and a white shirt, smiling as he presses the flesh with visiting officials.
In the first picture, posted to Facebook by an Africa-based aide, Prigozhin shakes hands with a suited-up African delegate. According to the watchdog All Eyes on Wagner, the African official is chief of protocol to Faustin Touadera, the president of the Central African Republic.
Hundreds of Wagner mercenaries arrived in the Central African Republic last week, according to local reports. The country is holding a constitutional referendum on Sunday that may abolish presidential term limits, therefore allowing Touadera to run again.
Why is Africa important for Wagner and Putin? Putin has long terms plans for Africa and one very important short term goal
GOLD
The UK just issued a report saying Russia's economy is being sustained by the Wagner Group's gold smuggling operations
A report says the mercenary group has been sneaking "significant" amounts of gold out of Sudan.
Smuggled gold is being used to prop up the Kremlin's finances, the report claims.

This report ties into US sanctions from last month against 4 Wagner affiliated gold companies. https://home.treasury.gov/news/press-releases/jy1581
In other Russia/Wagner/Africa news Wagner is claiming credit for the coup in Niger.
In a subsequent post, the Orchestra Wagner Telegram channel also claimed credit for a coup in Niger that took place on the eve of the St. Petersburg summit, although this claim could not be independently verified.
The ongoing military coup in Niger is threatening to destabilize one of the last Western allies in Africa’s Sahel region.
Donald Trump posted this today
Saying he got no "indication of notice."
This anon found that this means notice of it's believed they committed a crime aka an indictment is pending. https://greatawakening.win/p/16bjA0vaao/x/c/4TwQWSqPqIE
We have some history on this. Because this happened in the Mar a Lago case.
June 5th - Meeting with Lawyers
WASHINGTON (AP) — Lawyers for Donald Trump met with Justice Department officials on Monday as a decision nears on whether to bring criminal charges over the handling of classified documents at the former president’s Florida estate.
June 8th - Indictment
MIAMI (AP) — Donald Trump said Thursday that he was indicted for mishandling classified documents at his Florida estate.
I would say this is a strong indication another indictment is about to happen.
Other evidence
1. July 18th Trump posts on Truth Social that he has been notified he is a target of the investigation. https://truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrump/posts/110735295720085796
Deranged Jack Smith, the prosecutor with Joe Biden’s DOJ, sent a letter (again, it was Sunday night!) stating that I am a TARGET of the January 6th Grand Jury investigation, and giving me a very short 4 days to report to the grand Jury, which almost always means an Arrest and indictment.
Today's meeting was not with Trump, only his lawyers, so this is not about Trump appearing before the grand jury. It appears he did not. Today's meeting is after that window to speak the grand jury has passed.
2. The Pattern last time was the indictment was filed before the weekend and the press conference was given early next week. Actually I got this wrong. The indictment was unsealed on Friday June 9th and Trump was asked to report early the following week. https://www.justice.gov/sco-smith/speech/special-counsel-jack-smith-delivers-statement
A court clerk said no indictments came down today.
It could be another big Friday.
Oh wow, I was going to post a thread called Russian Coup: Mutiny on the Oka River. where are they now part two when new NEWS just broke

Russian President Vladimir Putin met mercenary leader Yevgeny Prigozhin after the failed Wagner group mutiny last month, the Kremlin says.
The rebellion, launched on 23 June, lasted only 24 hours.
Under a deal to end the mutiny, which saw Wagner troops seize a city and march on Moscow, charges against Prigozhin were dropped and he was offered a move to Belarus.
Kremlin spokesperson Dimitry Peskov said the Wagner chief was among the commanders who were invited to the Kremlin five days after the mutiny collapsed.
"The president gave an assessment of the company's actions on the front," Mr Peskov is quoted as saying by Interfax news agency.
"He also gave assessment to the 24 June events. Putin listened to the commanders' explanations and suggested variants of their future employment and their future use in combat."
**According to the spokesman, Prigozhin told Mr Putin that Wagner unconditionally supported him.
The Wagner chief's current whereabouts are unclear.**
I was going to post that in the past few days the head of Belarus said Prighozin never went into exile and stayed in Russia.
There seems to be a lot of news coming out today. More in comments.
So what happened?
Saw this on Yahoo
https://www.yahoo.com/news/dismissing-rebellion-minor-kremlin-dismantles-141836457.html
Key points
Prigozhin and Gen. Sergei Surovikin have not been heard from publicly since last weekend.
Belarus says Prigozhin is in exile in Belarus, but nobody has confirmed this.
Russia doesn't seem to prosecuting Wagner troops.
The US said Surovikin knew about the rebellion early. Russia has not commented
CIA told Russia it wasn't them.
A Prigozhin news site is blocked within Russia
The Kremlin is taking control of Wagner forces in Syria and Africa.
Russia is making Wagner troops sign contracts Defense Ministry, putting them under the control of the regular Russian military. (This was supposedly the reason Prigozhin acted.)
Lukashenko has offered Wagner troops use of an unused military base. The NY Times says Satellite imaegery showed 250 tents that could hold thousands of troops were just installed there.
Zelenskyy is moving troops to the Northern Border with Belarus.
June 26th seems to be the last time we heard from Prigozhin.
