Not doing so would be used against him with even greater furor and more damage. Remember, they blame him for not shutting down sooner, pushing alternative treatments and waving to supporters to prove himself alive and functioning when the media said he was dying of COVID-19.
Also, he knows his supporters can think for themselves and make our own decisions. That said, I would only worry if he did a commercial or blasted a message like celebrities are doing. He does that then you know who he really is.

He has been forced again and again to temper himself in order to “get along” to the point he is rendering himself worthless to patriots. I think if we are forced to choose to fight or bow, he would bow.
