Correction: Kings Mountain is south of the flag. Flag is located to the north of peak of Crowder mountain, Kings Mountain battlefield is between 185 degrees and 190 degrees to the south approximately 6 miles. Most likely not / not visible due to Crowder Mountain. Anyone local please chime in.

Second Correction: Distance from Gastonia Airfield to flag location approximately 9 miles vice 6 miles.
