Inspired by people mentioning Neil Cavuto cutting away from the Trump Campaign News Conference, I decided to do some digging.

Found this, let me know if you think I'm reaching.

"Your World with Neil Cavuto", May 27th, 2016:

Starting at 1:48 PM [1]

GUEST introduced, J. R. Martinez.

Burn victim, very clearly a pro-military story. [...]

CAVUTO, Agreeing with sentiment from Trump about the military that CONTRADICTS PRO-WAR-MACHINE NARRATIVE:

"Maybe we SHOULD downscale."

Then, a few days later, he went off air.

(May 31 2016, according to People Magazine. Required "open heart surgery") [2]

To quote him: "I fought back a near-life-ending cancer, only to end up with multiple sclerosis years later.

Doctors have since told me that the odds of contracting both diseases in the same life are something like two million to one!" [3]

But that quote's not even FROM 2016! It's from U.S. News Publishing Corporation, 2009 - so now, add open heart surgery to that list.

Now, back to the news story. What was the response to not going along with pro-military narrative?

MARTINEZ: But I think there is [risk] to some extent because you immediately pull out of a situation and you undo everything we worked hard-

(Possible double meaning? Military pull out / DS War machine) [...]

MARTINEZ: We're also losing men and women on our own battlefield which is in America. We're losing so many to suicide.

(Epsteined Euphemism?) [...]

MARTINEZ: We need your help to expand our voices and allow our voices to be heard.

(Reminder why Cavuto is allowed to have a show?) [...]

MARTINEZ: When will we do those dancing lessons?

(Reminder that their reach extends beyond professional career?) [...]

Then, the most confusing part of this if you take it at face value: his response.

CAVUTO: You are studying psychology. Can you imagine the games he can play with your head?
