When I think about it that way, everything flips. Then this story builds in my head. First read you on the Mud Flood Theory.
What if a group "knew" that a solar flare would hit earth? That it this event happens just like clockwork every X amount of years. Could they then stage everything, to make people think they are in jail, when in fact they are hiding from what's to come?
But I no data to back that up.
What I do have data on is that Trump does NOT like to lose and that he does not like people that screw him over. So he's all for REVENGE! So like your said it could be different cults fighting.
