I would never have used the strategy they have in order to beat him.

A "genuine" president can be worked around. If Romney or McCain had beaten Obama, Gore beaten Bush, etc. certain deals could've easily been worked out.

There has been no deal with Trump. Every attempt backfired quickly. Progress came to a halt because Trump wouldn't play according to plan. Now our country has been shut down, a biological weapon unleashed, and our people divided at levels not seen since the Civil War.

This chaos is leading in one direction, and that is not favorable to the old order status-quo.
