Yeah, Hoover facilitated the mafia, while claiming there was no organized crime in the US.
He collected info on everyone in politics in order to control them.
Criminals were used for wetworks and illegal activities.
They could have broken up the Crips, Bloods, MS-13, Bandidos, and Hell's Angels any time they wanted. They didn't want to, cause these gangs were the conduit to introduce drugs into the main stream.
