The theory of Snowden being a traitor is as follow: Snowden worked for the CIA before the NSA (this is a proven fact). He became the whistle-blower for NSA spying and violation of our 4th amendment - this seems to be a good thing. But having worked for the CIA he did not mention the CIA had the same capabilities for spying and in fact was illegally spy on American soil which they are forbidden by law to do. So the theory is, NSA have proof of the wrong doing of many powerful people including the CIA, so the CIA wanted to eliminate the competition. Snowden is believed by some to be a CIA agent who infiltrated the NSA to destroy it. There is a few Q drops implying Snowden cut a deal with the Q team. Is this true or disinformation? Who knows?

Personally, I hope he was a double agent working for the good guys.
