Wasn’t that. I watched that live. They stream all launches and tests on YouTube. That 12.5 KM test did not exceed Mach 1. It was just a slow free fall. And then engines ignited just before it tried to land. Unfortunately the engines didn’t have enough fuel pressure and therefore couldn’t produce enough thrust to nail the landing. Also they have test #2 scheduled for next week.
Yup. No problem brother. I am somewhat of a space enthusiast so I keep up with most launches and watch them on YouTube. The starship test was unbelievable. They’re doing a “belly flop” maneuver and then flipping back upright to land propulsively. Amazing engineering.
SpaceX Mars prototype? It made it to an altitude of 8 miles before blowing up and crashing to earth in smoke and flames...

I remember watching the re-run of that now. Didn't remember it being the Mars proto. Thanks for the heads-up.
