When its early morning or dusk and direct sunlight rays light up the contrails of a Jet flying away from you this is what it looks like. Those white contrails are lit up and looks yellow by the rising/setting sun. you are looking at the backside of a jet flying away from the camera and tilted to the left and you are seeing the 2 contrails coming out of both engines.
no, the plane has already passed and is too far away. Here is a video showing something similar. You'll notice how everything on the ground is in the darkness and everything above the clouds is highly lit by unblocked sunlight. Flocks of high flying birds can catch the sunlight and cause an odd visual effect on cameras also. You can search for more examples of "contrails in sunlight". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FtAZNiCrUWA
