Also read "Phillip Dru: Administrator" by Colonel House -- if you can find it. It was published anonymously in 1912. House was President Wison's close advisor until Wilson's stroke and his wife took over. Edit: it's been reprinted ISBN: 978-1434416339 and on Amazon.
