History reveals the great city of Babylon was conquered in one night, without resistance, in 539 BC by Cyrus the Great. Revelation 14:8 reads:

Incorrect statement about Christians. Bible is inerrant Word of God. Flaws included. And I have staked my life on it, and have met and spoken with the Christ face-to-face. Deuteronomy is a history book, not prophecy. Your interpretation is false.
