I just upvoted you and saw the "WWG1WGA" animation flash by; neat!

Also I agree, just started today and have already seen a few awesome aspects to it!

Doesn't require email to sign up.
The "Cancel" button doesn't delete what you typed; so if you hit it by accident (like I did my first comment!) it comes back when you click the "reply" link again.

Very nice place. And having General Flynn watching me from the right, as I type, just seems right.
