Wow, this is downright cruel I no longer have children at home and my grandkids live in another state, so this was quite shocking to me. Any parent that abides by this is blind. Instinctively, this is wrong. This has to end. I'm just not sure enough people will band together and start to resist. :(
Not true of all teachers Fren. I’m putting in more hours trying to maintain and grow important math thinking and practice. Social studies is even harder to teach online. Through all of this I have to follow the official line of masks, social distancing... blah blah blah. I have already been talked too because my students are too close, and don’t “sound” like they are social distancing. Our school population is split into two groups, with half going Mon-Tues, other half Thurs-Fri. I keep drawing the line at 60 hrs. I firmly believe: poorly educated students become easily controlled citizens. WWG1WGA
The pictures of the infants, especially with the pacifier masks, are the most disturbing. I just think Huxley's Brave New World. I taught about Anne Frank for many years, and in our discussions, I would always remind students that we have a Constitution and Bill of Rights to prevent such abuses from happening in America.. The events of 2020 have shown me how tyranny can so quickly take hold of any society in the name of "safety" and the majority of people just go along with the propaganda. I fear for our children's future if we continue to just go along.
How truly disgusting to do this to children. They may never get over it, psychologically. Ever.
