I don't think Lin has enough clout to really use such a tactic because the MSM will totally carry the water for Roberts (simply by going after Lin for being a crazy conspiracy theory kook)

Not at all. It is purposely leaked information meant to sow discord amongst the enemy. What do they know? How much do they know? Causing panic, confusion... and most importantly, mistakes.

agree - I think it is a great tactic for so many reasons
This is just the warning shot to get people talking. There is proof but maybe Robert's doesn't accept that fact yet.
