It was the role of churches in the past to keep society from going over the ethical cliff with scientific manipulation. The need for conventional soldiers will decline on future battlegrounds of cyberwar, bioweapons, and space. But I fear tyrannical governments will FIND uses for them. Do you think de Blasio wouldn't use them in a heartbeat?
