My sister just got an email from the place a group of us were going to stay in DC and they are closing down and cancelling all reservations!

Yep. I suspect there'll be a lot of this. They'd rather board up and hope they can ride out the "riots". Take a sleeping bag and pad - there's lots of grass in DC.
