Creating a firewall between Wood and official legal team representing POTUS. Did the same with Powell . That way those two can blow shit up without the red tape hassle that applies to official counsel.

Coordinated plays to misdirect and provide cover to WH. Maybe give DS reason to assume Wood is bluffing.

Lin Wood does not bluff. Has has the goods.
