"But the populist element which once supported the Republicans will move to a new 3rd Party. In this, we will see even conservative Democrats join its ranks."
I beg to differ... there is WAY too much uncertainty and "WHAT IF-ery" in this article. The hard truth is that historically third parties have been ephemeral, temporary things that rarely survive past the first election they campaign for.
The only 3rd party of any consequence I can think of is the Libertarian Party... sure they hang around, election after election, but quick, without looking it up, who were the last three Libertarian Party presidential candidates?
Forming a 3rd party in America is a complicated, expensive, and time-consuming effort. A better strategy (IMHO) would be to simply invade and take over the existing party that most closely matches our ideology; namely, the GOP. If we concentrate our efforts on rooting out the bad actors, RINOs, and traitors in the GOP, led by Pres. Trump himself (who seems poised and positioned to do exactly this), our work could continue well into the latter 21st Century.
It would necessitate getting rid of weak and wobbly "Republicans" through the electoral process on our end, and Pres. Trump using every form of pressure he could to "encourage" other bad actors to resign and "spend more time with their families."
In this scenario, we could take over the GOP completely in a mere 3 to 4 years in a concentrated effort.
Again, in my humble opinion.
Look how well it worked for the Tea Party!! (Yea, I know - they weren't officially a PARTY, but they did die out fairly quick.)
I thought the Tea Party went mainstream.
I agree a lot with Waldo here..
But I have always thought this was never about Republicans and Democrats or indeed any political association or organisation... rather it’s about bringing them all down....
So many people who support DJT and who voted at local levels were too quick to believe that the Republicans are better than the democrats because of POTUS ... they are both in service to the people but neither in recent history has done anything differently... just a different method perhaps....
People need to see it’s all of them..... it’s going to be biblical could refer to bringing the temple down around them and destroying it all...that’s another reason I don’t think the 6th will be as everyone wants or expects it to be.... I think the precipice that the people need to see for themselves is going to be sometime after the 6th January but no doubt it’s part of getting to that precipice were are rolling towards..!
Just imagine how panicked the corrupt politicians are both Republicans and Democrats and the corrupt or misinformed civil service inside government .... the trumpeting (no pun intended) of the 6th January could well be a call to those deeply embedded corrupt swamp creatures yet to show their true colors... and some of those people could well be very very close to POTUS.... even someone whose name would shock us all....!!
This date I believe is for them and not necessarily for us except by the way we are building it all up....and making them believe it too... or certainly prepare for it...

In sentiment I agree with a Third Party, but the reality is different.
I believe Trump is the only person capable of successfully creating a third party.
I mean: not just create it, but win. But also, there is a reason he has not done it (at least not yet): the system is rigged against 3rd parties.
There are all kinds of rules and legislations that make 3rd parties more difficult to succeed, and allow the other parties to gang-up against the winning (non majority - less than 50%) party. Similar to the UK, if a party doesn't achieve more than 50% votes the other parties will make coalitions to take over Congress. This is the secret why congress politician are not really that scared about 3rd parties.
Many say you can't run a 3rd party.
Yea.....in past years.
Whole new world now.
LION PARTY or PATRIOT PARTY would pull MILLIONS from both the GOP and DEMS!!!
70% of America KNOW their votes didn't count in 2020. Why even vote again.
It is time.
