The comparison is drawn to show that those who denigrate researchers as "conspiracy theorists" are left with a lap full of "coincidences" that are FAR MORE ABSURD than the theory they claim to debunk. It's just a quick way to line them up side by side. If they are saying there are no conspiracies, then how about explaining the long series of 1 in 10 million chance coincidences that they claim debunks the theory.

I hope he is for real as much as anybody. But his history begs the question of how and why he was walking in those circles decades ago.
