The excerpts from Hunter's diary read like the old "Hustler" magazine advice column... lurid in every detail. It was widely known that the "Hustler" pieces were pure fictional erotica, but Hunter's diary entries sound like the inner thoughts of a very troubled man. I suppose this is what happens to people when their family environment is one of total corruption.

Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
