Forum sliding is when shills from an opposing narrative, flood an "enemy" message board with pointless, irrelevant crap, so that real news gets muddied up and difficult to find (and it potentially discourages people from using a website with low quality posts/news).

Mainly used when they can't control the spread of information. So instead they try to obfuscate and shit it up.
