So all the court proceedings were feints? That's why they didn't show the real evidence? Not because they were saving it for scotus?

Partially, but the larger goal I believe was to show that the courts are unable or unwilling to deal with the problem. To show that Trump exhausted every possible legal option before pulling the trigger. Sidney Powell has alluded to a similar idea.
