What do you think Trump meant by that statement during the speech? I thought it was very odd.... Unless Pence knew how much hate he would get for the time period, he would basically be going undercover against Trump siding with deep state to do this.
When he said that I was rally confused, because it seems the opposite. Plus considering Bannon said the day before "It's not going to happen the way we all think it's going to happen"
Just curious on people's thoughts.
Trump is fun because he says things that both sound so ineloquent to the point that he had mis-spoken, but in the long run turns out to be quite succinct - even if it still could have been said better.
Regardless, my thoughts are that Pence was very well protected by the Constitution to force the votes back to the legislatures to figure out. If, within the 10 days or so that was requested from Ted Cruz, et al., they were unable to resolve it, he would have every right to certify whomever he wanted.
Biden or Trump - and if he wanted to be a Deep State stooge, he could be so, freely, and without much concern for retribution from any military courts (IE, I did my role as VP, they couldnt figure it out, now my friends get in - legally).
