So why on earth would they be impeaching a man who has 13 days left, especially with such obvious haste and fear?
Because for 13 days he's got the legal reins of the military and and can still hurt them.
They're terrified. He's not done.

Think of this period in time as a period of UNindoctrination. Breaking people down so that they may be built back up.
Things aren't over. Not even close. The show's just begun. We will see in the next ten days the final act. Nothing can stop what is coming.
