So why on earth would they be impeaching a man who has 13 days left, especially with such obvious haste and fear?
Because for 13 days he's got the legal reins of the military and and can still hurt them.
They're terrified. He's not done.

Vindictive perhaps, but they literally can't vote to impeach as Congress is now in recess.
So why bother? In a couple days, supposedly, he is done. Unless....he is very much not.
They like the sound of their unhinged rhetoric. It seems to help incite the weak minded liberal tools.
