I understand what you are saying, and I agree with it. But I also think that there's some information wouldn't do us much good, but could probably provoke a war no one needs. People are going to be pissed - nations are going to be pissed, and some people (not necessarily us) will want to blame someone they can take their anger out on. Which would play into the hands of the DS, even if they're no longer around to see it. We don't need that. And they don't either.
