The Q we refer to is usually the public side of Q, which are called Q drops (informative posts) by this organization. One thing to keep in mind about Q posts is that there's many layers to them, and they serve multiple purposes. One was to unite the public against the Deep State actors. Another is to expose the DS actors. Another is to recruit anons in the fight to expose the DS actors. And in some cases, to confuse the DS and force them to expose themselves. So some information is deliberately misleading or obtuse. Those it is directed at will respond to it.
Anyway, you can get some ideas of the mission just by reading the drops on this page, which is the very beginning of Q's exposure to the public. The oldest (first) drops are at the bottom of the page. Some of them relate to very recent and current events.
